vdB 152

vdB (van den Bergh) 152 – also listed as Ced (Cederblad) 201 – is a dust cloud located in the constellation of Cepheus. At its end, it reflects the light of a bluish giant star. The dark parts of the dust cloud are only visible because they absorb most of the light from beyond. Furthermore, the light from billions of stars located in our Milky Way gives vdB 152 a dim, ghostly glow.
